This piece is called "Candy Red" and "Apple Jack" two (fictitious at this time) Hod Rod Custom cars parked up on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah USA. The canvas is Windsor and Newton acid free stretched over a frame and all paint and coatings are premium quality Acrylics.

From start (when drawing added to canvas) until finished it took fourteen weeks.

Above shows the first stage tidied up pencil sketch direct on the canvas, note the kissing couple.
Above shows base level dark scrub and cover wash on.
And now the sky base complete.
The Salt Flats added and glass beads incorporated to add texture and the sky detail finished.
